LED Floodlights for Coastal Areas and Dock Yards

Often our Floodlight types FLV and FLA are likely to be used in extra harsh and challenging environments such as around coast areas, harbours, dock yards and sea front promenades which is why we have a solution to help resist them against corrosion and UV.

We apply them with a “dual layer coating” to make them withstand these conditions. It’s simply called a “Coastal finish” and was developed by a leading European manufacturer of paints and surface treatments. It is applied to any fixtures which are likely to be used near to any coastal environment and they have been used frequently on various types buildings situated near or next to the sea, such as cranes and masts within dock yards and on occasions we’ve even supplied them for installation on boats and ships.

The FLV and FLA Floodlight ranges are a robust yet attractive looking fixture, are powered using Meanwell LED drivers, made with 316 stainless steels screws and are embodied using Osram LEDs which help to produce a very high lumens per watts package making them an ideal choice over inferior models.
