IP67 Waterproof LED Flexi strip which is Heat and High Temperature Resistant. Ideal for use in Saunas, Bathrooms, Steam rooms, Engine rooms, Kitchens, Inglenook fireplaces (where the fires have no naked flames), around a log burner, Scientific and Laboratory uses, Heat Chambers and any environment which needs lighting in hot areas.
Being a new product it is being viewed as a potential item for use around, for example, an Aga cooker. Anyone looking to do that must take into consideration the heat generated in the proceeding area and it must not exceed the temperature parameters of Ta -40° ~ +100°C (Ta – 40°~+212°F). Although it’s obvious, it needs to be said, the strip must not be exposed to naked flames or excessive heat which would melt the silicon protecting the strip or the plastic extrusion used to secure the strip in place. We are not responsible for where the strip is put once sold, so we ask all potential purchasers and users to be cautious and observe the strip can only operate within Ta -40° ~ +100°C (Ta – 40°~+212°F) . This LED strip must not be put inside conventional aluminium profile. The strip generates heat and if trapped inside the profile it will fail prematurely.
