UK SUPPLIER OF LED PRODUCTS
Traditional fluorescent tubes work on either magnetic or electronic ballasts and come in various sizes, T5, T6, and T8. We supply a range of LED tubes which can replace the majority of these tubes, one is made from glass and the other has a PC cover (usually frosted but also available in clear) with an aluminium heat sink. There are advantages to have either type, it all depends on the end user.
These lamps are made to a special length and can be lit in two ways. The first is to wire directly from your mains input to one end of the lamp (also marked Input) or the second method is to substitute a standard fluorescent tube, which is lit using Conventional Control Gear (CCG), in other words, magnetic (wire wound conventional) ballasts. Simply replace the old tube with our LED one and then swap over the old style starter for our LED starter model, supplied free with all tubes. For best results though and to benefit full energy saving we recommend wiring them direct to your mains input and bypassing the ballast, which saves extra electric.
