In former times, Branded versions of these lamps were known in the trade as PL-EC and PL-ET, Biax-EL, Mini-Lynx, Dulux-EL and Ralux-Quick. CFL lamps were recognised as being very energy efficient and had a rated average life time of between 8000-15000 hours. LED versions offer significantly more than this making them even more efficient and unlike CFL lamps they require no warm up time, because they are instant switch on. Perhaps their biggest advantage is the fact they are about half the power of CFL lamps, it’s a massive saving with the cost of electric, and who will not want to enjoy that.
These lamps are not as common now and made to order. We are pleased to offer this type in 5.5W. If you require a similar lamp with a different specification please ask us to quote. We are able to change the lamp base E14, E27 and B22d.
